My faithful readers know that I have been subjecting myself to a 30 minute abs class with a highly motivated instructor.  Well, according to the park district catalog, Sharon also teaches a cardio-kickboxing class as well….right before the abs class…for an hour.  I am debating.  It sounds like fun, I like Sharon a lot, and it would be a great workout.  However, do I have it in me to take back-to-back workout classes when I am still pretty much a novice?  I’ll keep ya posted as to what I decide.

However, I don’t much to say.  I’m a little drained right now…

I am taking a 30 Min Abs class at the Park District.  Our Instructor is incredibly fit and HIGH ENERGY.  The class is GREAT and I feel the soreness in my ab muscles for days afterwards.  Some of the exercise names are pretty standard: Leg Extensions, Crunches, and Plank.  Yesterday, she made us do Crunchy Frogs which involved ab crunches and bending and extending your legs so they resembled those of a frog. Very effective, even if the name is silly!
