Upstairs, downstairs…

Last night I was at school and I went into one of the main buildings that serves students – wellness centers, mailboxes, study/lounge areas, and cafeterias and a little cafe.  I have never been in this building before, so I had to request directions.  The kind gentleman who assisted me told me I needed to go upstairs 2 flights and then cross the main foyer and go down 3 flights.  What he failed to mention was after going down 3 flights I had t wind my way through a labyrinth and several doors.  I’m glad I left a trail of bread crumbs so I could find ground level again!

Makin’ the grade…

I just a letter from the school stating I made Deans List for Fall of 2007 – woo hoo!

Grades!

Two of my spring classes ended and I have been waiting for the grades to be posted online.  I am pleased to announce that I earned an “A” in Negotiations and a “B” in Business Management and Theory!

School days…

I just signed up for the last three classes of my Managerial Cohort.  I will be done with all the classes for a Managerial Communications major in October!  It amazes me that I started this program in August of 2007.  My classmates are great, the best bunch of people to go through 15 months of school with (the classmates stay the same, the classes and professors change).

I enjoyed my cohort, so much so, I signed up for another cohort, and after that I graduate (provided I can squeeze in the the last couple of gen eds I need)!

I did it…

I actually got up early to finish up some assignments for school.  I normally wake up at 6am to be at work by 7am.  I actually got up at 4:30am, went downstairs, and wrapped up in blankets, and finished some work on my trusty laptop.  I even finished by 5:45am, so I elected to go back to bed for a 15 minute snooze.  I know I should have used that time to maybe get ready for work so I could leave early and have time for the coffee shop, but I decided to go back to bed.  Anyways, folks, the victories being celebrated here is the fact I got up early (not really a specialty of mine under normal circumstances), and the other one being, I got my work done for class tonight.
